The Anaheim Union HSD GATE Orchestra has been successful for over 20 years thanks to the support of its members. This Orchestra is committed to providing excellent music training, musical programs and events which bring appreciation, enjoyment and recognition to the value of music in our community. Each year we have raised money through sales of the weekly snack bar, the selling of T-shirts and generous donations from our members. But this is not enough. We are reaching out to you to keep this program alive. Parents and friends of the Orchestra have the opportunity to build upon the work already started by the Pacific Symphony's Harp Guild, now known as the Harp Guild of the Anaheim Union High School District. This organization, founded in 1982, is based on the principles of assisting and promoting cultural enrichment and appreciation of fine music for young people.

The purpose of the Harp Guild is to provide funds for the Anaheim Union High School District GATE Orchestra by:
  • holding monthly meetings.
  • coordinating one major event per year.
  • using the annual event to attract membership to the residents of Anaheim.
  • collaborating with the Anaheim Arts Council.
Be a part of this very exciting time and get involved as either a Board or regular member! Below are Board openings and a very simple description for each post.

President: In charge of meetings and the vision of the organization.

Vice-President: Works closely with the president.

Recording Secretary: Takes notes at each meeting and sends out minutes to the members.

Corresponding Secretary: Makes contact to those within and outside of the organization.

Treasurer: Responsible for managing the cash flow.

Membership: Welcomes new members and sustains existing members.
